We deliver, we do not offer collection. Delivery costs £5 across our Liverpool delivery postcodes, L1 to L25, and every order includes it. We need at least 2 days' notice for a menu cake, and longer for bespoke. We do not post cakes.
Local delivery
Delivery costs £5 and is made on the date and in the slot you chose at checkout. Because we do not offer collection, delivery is the only way to receive a cake and the charge is added to every order.
We deliver every day. On Sundays, deliveries are in the afternoon only, 12pm to 5pm. Our delivery slots are:
- Morning, 9am to 12pm
- Afternoon, 12pm to 5pm
We currently deliver to these postcode districts:
L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L7, L8, L9, L10, L11, L12, L13, L14, L15, L16, L17, L18, L19, L20, L21, L22, L23, L24, L25
If your postcode is not listed, the checkout will tell you before you pay rather than taking your money for a cake we cannot bring you. Send us a bespoke request and we can sometimes make an exception for a larger order.
How much notice we need
Menu cakes need at least 2 days. Bespoke cakes need considerably longer, usually 7 days or more, and 3 weeks or more for wedding cakes with a consultation.
We also take no more than three orders for any one day, so that every cake gets the attention it needs. If your date is full, the website will tell you at checkout rather than letting you book and then letting you down.
On the day
Someone needs to be there to receive the cake. We cannot leave a cake on a doorstep, with a neighbour, or in a porch. It is perishable and it will not survive. If nobody is there and we cannot reach you, we will bring the cake back to our kitchen and contact you to agree what happens next.
Once your cake has been handed over, please refrigerate it if it contains fresh cream, and keep it level and out of direct sun.
If we cannot deliver
If something on our side stops us delivering, illness, an oven failure, weather that makes the roads unsafe, we will tell you as soon as we know and refund you in full. We are a one-baker kitchen, so we would rather be honest early than let you down on the day.
We do not post cakes
We do not ship nationally by courier. A hand-finished cake does not survive a parcel network, and we are not willing to send something we know will arrive damaged.
